I don’t know about you, but
sometimes
when the world overwhelms the senses
gets under my skin
I need to get away from it all
I yearn for sunshine, fresh air
A place
where the phone doesn’t ring
the bills can be ignored
the kids can play
and the thousand other chores screaming
for my immediate attention
can be put aside……
Just for a few moments
where the world and its problems disappear
where I can just be myself
relax
This place is immediate
therapeutic
it doesn’t require catching a plane or packing bags
it offers timeless beauty
yet is always changing
it is manmade
but couldn’t be more natural
it’s a dynamic place
yet is serenity itself
Where on earth
is this magical kingdom
where I can reconnect
clear my thoughts
unwind
as I see fit ?
Well, it’s
just around the corner
out the window
through the gate…….
it’s my own yard transformed
